Kid the World Saver
Developer: Silverware Games
Nomination: Student Showcase
Platform: Windows
Website
Description: Help Kid save the world. With . . . Legos? Tanagrams? Interacting block things?

Adam’s Thoughts:
Ok, we’ve done impressions for some games with minimal information available before, but Kid the World Saver blows them all away. There’s one singular screenshot and three sentences worth of description in the whole world about the game. So instead, I thought I’d show you some pictures of puppies.

Just kidding. Based on the available information, it looks like the game will fall somewhere between tangrams and Lemmings. There are tiles of various shapes and colors you can place near the eponymous Kid that “affect [his] behavior.” So it sounds like you don’t so much direct Kid to save the world as you nudge him in a heroic direction. We’ll let you know more as we learn it, but in the meantime, I’d like to invite wild speculation about the nature of the game. Leave some in the comments if you’re so inclined.

Katie’s Thoughts:
Uh . . . I like Legos!
