In the wake of fan outrage that Valve could be so audacious as to release Left 4 Dead sequel a year after the first game hit, the company has announced that a new movie will soon be up for download. Titled Crash Course, the new content will bridge the gap between the first two movies, No Mercy and Death Toll. The new content will cover the gamut of multiplayer options, and should salve the boycotters to some extent.
Valve plans to release Crash Course in September for 560 points (that’s $7) on Xbox Live or for free if you’re a PC gamer. If it helps mitigate the paroxysms of nerd rage over having to pay for the content on Live, consider that you paid $15 for each movie when you bought L4D in the first place ($60/4 movies=$15/movie). Or don’t and flame Valve, either way’s good.
