This one comes straight from the awesome files: Eric Ruth Games just released an 8-bit version of Left 4 Dead (via Evil Avatar). The so-called “demake” of Valve’s popular cooperative FPS takes after Smash TV, but we can probably forgive it because it’s just so darn cute.

Eric Ruth Games is about as indie as it gets, being solely owned by a self-taught developer. So give him a chance to impress you.
