Have you visited the front page of Google lately? If not, you may be surprised by this:
To celebrate the granddaddy of modern video games on his 30th birthday, Google has posted a fully playable version of Pac-Man as their site banner. Through the end of tomorrow, clicking on the insert coin button will grant you access to the original game’s 256 levels, cinematics, and even bugs. Better still, inserting another coin launches two-player mode so your Ms. Pac-Man can help scour the level of power pellets (using WASD controls for her and the arrow keys for you). Shifting the bar from cool to amazing, the banner was even playable when I tested it on my 2G iPod Touch. Swipe gestures work as controls, though the whole thing was very choppy (choose the classic site instead of the mobile site if you want to try it out for yourself).
