PlayDead wrote to let us know that Limbo‘s release date had finally solidified. Lo and behold, Xbox.com actually has the whole Summer of Arcade schedule posted:

Limbo - July 21
Hydro Thunder – July 28
Castlevania – August 4
Monday Night Combat – August 11
Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light – August 18

It feels like barely a week since I reported on some of these. Still, it’s nice to see something at E3 that you don’t have to wait six months for. It’s even better to see an indie game get the launch honors, especially one as promising as Limbo.

As a little bonus, Microsoft is incentivizing the downloadable titles. Buying three games will score you a 400 point refund, and all five gets you 1200 back.

So what are you waiting for?
